BGEA: Moving Equity Forward
Many thanks to each of you for your interest and active engagement in addressing the inequities of Black girls. There has been great energy following our 2nd annual equity summit and we want to continue the momentum.
We are convening a meeting to debrief about the summit, as well as share updates and next steps for each of the workgroups. Additionally, we have an awesome opportunity to learn about the research and equity work that Dr. Jamilia Blake has been conducting around black girls.
Jamilia Blake is an Associate Professor of Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University and co-author of the report, Girlhood Interrupted, published by Georgetown Law Center on Poverty and Inequality in 2017
