The 57th Annual Comcast Light Up Night Celebration is bigger and better this year with free entertainment, fun activities and musical performances. Two stages will be set up on Fort Duquesne Boulevard for headliners Andy Grammer (pop artist and Dancing with the Stars alum) and YouTube sensation Maggie Lindemann. Also in the lineup are local talents Joe Grushecky, Jeff Jimerson and also the MCG Jazz Band. The Andy Warhol Bridge is the spot to be to try a sports virtual reality experience. And new this year are a karaoke contest and five Pop Up Shops, including a nickelodeon movie theater with classic films, the return of the Miracle on the Market Bar, Technogel Sleeping Shop and two clothing stores. Catch one of the seven tree lightings. Bring the kids for the children's activities. Take in a 30-minute holiday concert by the renowned Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Be dazzled by the BNY Mellon Season of Lights show and watch the buildings surrounding the square sparkle with more than 150,000 lights and a stunning, 35-foot tall illuminated Sphere Tree. There's a light show every half hour. Look up to the sky for the pinnacle event of the evening — the spectacular fireworks show.
