Lead and manage DLC Revenue Management organization. Revenue Management is approximately a 35 person organization that includes two departments: (i) billing and (ii) credit and collection. Responsible for timely and accurate billing and collection from DLC’s 590,000 electric only customers, including the following:

 

Billing:

  • Leadership of one direct report, two (2) supervisors and 25 plus billing analysts;
  • Policies, procedures and processes for the department;
  • Business controls necessary to ensure timely and accurate bills;
  • System testing to ensure timely and accurate bill, including rate, tax and other changes;
  • Diagnose “root cause” of issues and identify and implement solution paths;
  • Coordination with Customer Service and IT to efficiently produce timely and accurate bills;
  • Creation and management of control reports to ensure timely and accurate bills;
  • Management of daily exceptions to ensure timely and accurate bills;
  • Management of the delayed bill report to ensure timely and accurate billings;
  • Management of third-party bill print and mail provider; and
  • Training of staff to ensure policies, procedures and processes are followed and timely and accurate bills are produced;
  • Collaborate with Customer Service on new bill designs that meet regulatory requirements, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction;
  • Ensure meter-to-cash process bills all DLC customers and Unaccounted For Energy remains within a reasonable tolerance; and
  • Coordination with Customer Programs so that the Customer Assistance and other Universal Services Programs are billed timely and accurately.
