This role will focus on air permitting, compliance, and greenhouse gases/climate initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable environmental local, state and federal regulations as they pertain to our operating facilities, continuous improvement for environmental performance, and identifying practices and procedures that move us beyond compliance. This role will also focus on the development & implementation of our methane and climate policies.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:Assist in the development of environmental and climate policies and procedures.Acts as subject matter expert on environmental and climate risk regulations, procedures, policies and practices.Train operations, project management & other relevant staff on best practices for environmental compliance and protectionAnalyze incident and compliance trends dataParticipate in task forces, working groups, inter-agency groups, as needed on relevant issuesManage research, analysis, technicalManage multi-disciplinary project teams, manage project budgets, and coordinate technical and financial aspects of projects.Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to build, maintain and leverage strong relationships; self-motivated; effectively work with multi-discipline teamsDesigning and implementing new procedures, products, and/or strategies across multi-discipline teamsSupport environmental management & the Corporate Chief Sustainability Officer in policy and project development as it relates to environmental, sustainability and climate issues; specifically, strategic support through ETRN Corporate systems, processes and policies.
