Defines, develops and executes sourcing strategies for procurement of goods across the enterprise.   Will handle most purchasing activities and establishes strategic purchasing processes and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Develop / modify procurement process and practices
  • Develop annual procurement plan for the enterprise by aligning departments procurement activities
  • Identify procurement items to leverage across all companies
  • Identify, establish, and maintain solid vendor relationships for the Enterprise
  • Research and qualify new vendors
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
  • Develop and manage vendor scorecards that tracks supplier performance and compliance with expectations and/or contractual terms
  • Manages the organization's request for information/ quotes / purchase  (RFI/Q/Ps) and evaluates potential suppliers to ensure that cost, quality, inventory levels, and supply chain operations meet organizational needs
  • Work closely with all companies and departments to align procurement requirements and needs to leverage a single spend ensuring department objectives are met
  • Analyze invoices for accuracy and approve procurement spend
  • Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods
  • Executes and manages Purchase Orders (POs) and dispute resolutions in a timely manner
