Human Resources Generalist

Provides human resources and employee relations support to various departments across ACHIEVA. Utilizes experience and knowledge of applicable laws to carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment, employee relations, training, workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, program compliance, and leave administration. Seeks guidance and support from various other Human Resource Department managers and employees as needed. Reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.

Equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related field and one to two years related experience. Proficient computer skills required and HRIS experience a plus. Basic knowledge of employment laws necessary. Ability to prioritize and organize multiple job tasks essential. Some local travel required to other ACHIEVA locations. Vehicle available for work use and valid license to drive in Pennsylvania. Satisfactory Act 34 and/or FBI clearance required.
