The Propel Teacher Residency Program (PTRP) is a fully funded Special Education teacher certification program that trains, supports, and certifies individuals so they can provide high-quality education for children. Propel offers both the Masters of Education program (42 credits for candidates who do not hold any teaching certification) and the Masters of Arts program (30 credits for candidates who already hold a teaching certification).

Program Overview:

In the first year of the program, each resident receives a generous $2,000 monthly stipend and full scholarship  to Point Park University. Graduate level coursework begins in August 2021.

Residents work alongside a Propel educator during the week, receive individualized coaching support and professional development from the Residency Team, and have one day a week dedicated to Point Park coursework.
