The Benefits Representative position serves as a primary customer service support for the day-to-day benefits administration for the University of Pittsburgh. This includes answering customer inquiries and appropriately directing them to other sources for resolution of an issue. Responses may involve the need to assist with enrollment, benefit eligibility, health and welfare benefit plan details, retirement, voluntary, and education benefits. The Benefits Representative assists with administrative support tasks such as discrepancy and error reports, plan audits, benefit presentations, new hire orientations, and other projects as required.
