Violence Prevention Program Manager
This is administrative, management and professional work in planning,
directing and coordinating public health activities in the field of
violence prevention. An employee in this class may serve as an assistant
to a higher level public health administrator
or may have the responsibility for administering a generalized
program of public health services. Supervision may be exercised over
adjunctive professional, technical and clerical personnel. Specific
goals of the Office of Violence Prevention include an emphasis on
increasing accessibility to information and services through
collaborative partnerships with communities and school districts.
