At each performance, the Host will create a professional, first class, warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests entering the venue by directly interacting with each guest. This position is equal parts customer service representative, stage manager and house manager. The ideal candidate will have past experience working both backstage and front of house positions in a live performance venue. Must be able to work during six to eight performances per week on a flexible schedule that is primarily evenings and weekends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must also have excellent leadership and problem solving skills. The Host will provide on-site supervision to other members of the front of house staff, such as volunteers.
