Human Resources Assistant

Job Summary: 

-Provide daily administrative and generalist support to the Human Resources Department.

Some of the Duties Include: 
- Oversee and coordinate the administrative needs of the team, including by not limited to preparing correspondence and reports, scheduling meetings and interviews, maintaining office supplies,  and other administrative activities 
- Accurately monitor and respond to employee inquiries via department’s HR Helpline, referring issues to other HR personnel as appropriate 
- Consult with department management, identify and resolve HR issues and maintain confidentiality of all records and databases 
- File employee paperwork and maintain all files and records in a confidential and organized manner 
- Process and create employee files and confidential records such as invoices and purchase card statement 
- Review and prepare all new hire onboarding paperwork and background documentation to ensure compliance 
- Respond to requests for verification of employment and unemployment requests
