Human Resources Generalist, Employee Relations (Jail)

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a range of personnel-related activities within all areas of the department including employee/labor relations, training, performance management, recruitment, selection and staffing.† The incumbent serves as the departmentís liaison to and works in collaboration with the Countyís central Department of Human Resources.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelorís Degree (Masterís preferred) in Human Resources or a related field AND two (2) years of professional experience in human resources administration.† Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.† SHRM and/or HRCI certification a plus.† An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
