The cook is responsible for serving nutritional, well-balanced meals to the clients and residents in all Bethlehem Haven programs. The cook will work closely with both the Medical Respite Supervisor and the Bethlehem Haven Residential Manager to ensure collaboration and efficiencies across programs. This individual is responsible for ensuring that all kitchen and prep areas meet regulations pertaining to food preparation, storage and safety as outlined by the ServSafe Training, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) standards. The cook will also be required to complete all mandatory paper work including but not limited to food temperature logs, freezer and refrigerator temperature logs and all Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) paperwork as required by regulations.
