Treatment Services Coordinator
The Treatment Services Coordinator is responsible for conducting initial assessments and service planning, identifying appropriate treatment programs, coordinating referrals to the treatment programs, and monitoring and reporting on progress in treatment for defendants and inmates whom judges have authorized for diversion to treatment for substance use disorders. The incumbent reports directly to the Administrator of Alternative Housing and Diversion.
Minimum Requirements: A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, OR a related Master’s Degree AND three (3) years of prior experience in a health or human services agency with a focus in substance use treatment AND a minimum of one (1) year experience in completing assessments for substance use treatment.
Applicants who are licensed with the State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors, who possess Certification of Addiction Counseling, have experience working in a criminal justice system, and who have ASAM training are preferred.
