Assistant Manager of Institutional Giving

Full-time salaried position responsible for supporting the Institutional Development team with donor relations, grant/sponsor proposals and reports, and management of donor records.  This position acts as a liaison between sponsors and the Trust – providing sponsors with benefit fulfillment, concierge services, and overall donor relations and also reporting back to Trust departments and board members regarding sponsor activities at performances and events.  Main job responsibilities include managing onsite sponsors at large events/festivals (particularly the Three Rivers Arts Festival), conducting outreach to past, current, and potential sponsors, and assisting the Manager of Institutional Giving with data collection and reporting requirements.  Candidates should have at least 3-5 years’ development experience (could be institutional or individual) with prior event planning, customer service or sales/marketing experience preferred.  Familiarity with and comfort working in a fundraising database (Tessitura or Raiser’s Edge preferred) or ability to learn database required. Candidate must be a team player, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess strong writing and project coordination skills.
