Housing Opportunity Fund: Program Specialist

This position is for a Program Specialist in the Housing Opportunity Fund (HOF) Department at the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (URA).†The Program Specialist in the HOF Department will be responsible for the management of two or more of the Housing Opportunity Fundís programs. In particular, this Program Specialist position will work with the HOF Director to manage the Housing Stabilization Program (HSP). The Program Specialist will also manage the annual Roof‐A‐Thon, the Small Landlord Fund, and/or another program. Additionally, the URA reserves the right to add or replace the above listed programs with additional to‐be‐ determined program(s) given program demand and time availability.
This position requires a bachelorís degree in Social Work, Public Policy, and/or a related field, plus two years of experience. Another combination of education, experience, knowledge and abilities demonstrating the qualifications necessary to perform the duties of this position would also be considered.
Additionally, this position requires:
- Excellent verbal and written skills required
- Customer service skills required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- City residency is a condition of employment.
