The experience Benefits Analyst is an integral part of the Total Rewards team by contributing to the redesign/design of Kennametal employee benefit programs by providing analytical support for self-funded health plans, insurance plans, retirement plans, through the management and/or coordination of key initiatives and projects.


Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Human Resources or Finance preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in any of the following fields: benefits, compensation, insurance, retirement, or health care
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including advanced functions (advanced formulas, VLOOKUP, PivotTables, etc.) in Excel required
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA regulations
  • Interacts professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization, customers, vendors, team members, etc.         
  • Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information
