This is category 1 of the Global Diversity and Inclusion Benchmarks (GDIB) and is considered a foundational category. It is used to build a D&I initiative. It covers the organization’s overall approach to D&I, its articulation of the value of D&I, the requirements of managing D&I, and how D&I is embedded in the organization.
Action: Develop a strong rationale for D&I vision and strategy and align it to organizational goals.
