Over 25 U.S. states have passed some form of the CROWN Act or similar legislation, banning discrimination based on natural hair, braids, locs, twists, and other protective styles in schools and workplaces.
As the law will go into effect on January 2026 in PA, YWCA Greater Pittsburgh has developed a 90-minute workshop to inform employers and employees about the Act.
