FUNCTION:

The Senior Vice President of Achieva Resource will report to the President, Achieva Resource, and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Achieva. The Senior Vice President of Achieva Resource will work on the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's administrative services and departments, as well as other strategic priorities, cross-organizational initiatives, and special projects within The Achieva Family of Organizations supporting and promoting efficient, innovative, and profitable goals and objectives.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly or indirectly supervises department heads as determined by the President, Achieva Resource and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Achieva.

Works with administrative department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations as directed.

Recruits, interviews, hires and trains management and professional-level staff as directed.

In collaboration with other executive staff, and skilled and trusted departmental employees, maintains the essential operating systems, information, and financial business of the company as directed.

Becomes thoroughly knowledgeable and competent on the essential duties and functions of the President, Achieva Resource and Executive Vice President, and CFO of Achieva in order to be able to either perform such duties and functions or ensure such duties and functions continue seamlessly and uninterrupted in the event of his or her short or intermediate-term absence. 

Documents and develops standard operating procedures for the positions essential duties and functions, and ensures standard operating procedures are maintained for the President, Achieva Resource and Executive V.P., and CFO of Achieva. 

Works on assigned special projects as directed. This may include Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives for Achieva, Strategic Vision plan project management, and others as assigned.

Defines, recommends, and implements approved key performance indicators and strategic objectives for Achieva Resource and, as appropriate, the entire Achieva organization.

Drafts, recommends, and implements approved policies and best practices to support the achievement of objectives and required standards.

Drafts business plans for new products, services, and markets as necessary.

Ensures availability of adequate and appropriate equipment, staffing, and systems; recommends additional staffing and services.

Maintains knowledge of developments and trends in Achieva Resource operations, including but not necessarily limited to Finance, Information Technology, Facilities, Advancement (communications and development), and Human Resources.

Recommends and facilitates implementation of new systems and major modifications of existing systems to increase efficiency and productivity and reduce downtime as assigned. Recommends and facilitates the implementation of initiatives that will result in financial growth for Achieva.

Recommends, implements, and communicates the approved strategic direction of the Achieva Resource operations.

Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet organizational goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.

Collaborates with other departments to carry out the organizations goals and objectives.

Recommends, communicates, and implements approved operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution as assigned.

Collaborates with all departments to identify and deliver the required administrative support operations for the organization.

Works with and provides staff support to Boards and Committees as directed by the President, Achieva Resource and Executive V.P. and CFO and/or the President and CEO of Achieva.
