Lora McKnight leads strategic operations at Vibrant Pittsburgh, advancing the organization as a regional talent and culture accelerator. She works with employers and partners across the Pittsburgh region to strengthen workplace cultures, develop inclusive leadership, and build the conditions that attract, retain, and grow talent—supporting inclusive economic growth for the region.

Lora brings deep experience convening stakeholders and translating community insight into practical strategies and programs. She has contributed to the Immigrants and Internationals Advisory Council of Allegheny County, the Welcoming Pittsburgh Advisory Council for the City of Pittsburgh, and Awaken Pittsburgh, and currently serves on the boards of Allies for Children and the Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance. She is a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh (XL Cohort, the “best cohort ever”).

Her background includes roles at The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Southwestern PA and Chatham University. Lora earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Illinois State University and holds an MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh.
