DESCRIPTION:May 17 – Cultivating a Culture of Belonging \nDiversity\, equity\, accessibility\, and inclusion–these are the key ingredients to belonging. Feelings of belonging drive innovation\, recruitment\, and retention\, and creating this feeling can improve both employee engagement and performance. This training gives an overview of the factors that contribute to the feelings of belonging and provides insight on how to foster a supportive\, inclusive environment in the workplace. \nIn this training participants will:\no discuss the main factors that make employees feel like they belong;\no review key components to help foster a sense of belonging; and\no learn the benefits of creating a supportive\, inclusive work environment \nVibrant Pittsburgh’s monthly Lunch and Learn brings together Vibrant Pittsburgh members from across sectors and industries in an informal\, interactive\, and participatory atmosphere to collaborate and deepen knowledge.
