DESCRIPTION:April 19 – Inclusive Workplaces Start with Inclusive Meetings \nInclusive leaders commit to ensuring all team members are treated equitably\, feel a sense of belonging and have the resources and support they need. One concrete place to start is with how we run our internal meetings. Inclusive meetings create an environment in which everyone can contribute. Building a culture of inclusive meetings asks us to understand our biases that diminish the effectiveness of our teams and adjust our approach to meeting facilitation. \nIn this training participants will:\no learn how to foster a culture of inclusive meetings;\no understand the basics of running an inclusive meeting; and\no review and practice these concepts in real-time. \nVibrant Pittsburgh’s monthly Lunch and Learn brings together Vibrant Pittsburgh members from across sectors and industries in an informal\, interactive\, and participatory atmosphere to collaborate and deepen knowledge.
