Those seeking to create more inclusive workplaces and inclusive mindsets ask these questions often. Being an ally means supporting members of social groups outside your own\, helping them to succeed in numerous ways. Allies\, advocates\, and accomplices are essential to make your workplace feel safe\, comfortable\, and welcoming to everyone. \nIn this training\, participants will:\no learn about allyship\, advocates\, and accomplices in the workplace;\no define and discuss the difference between being an ally\, advocate\, or accomplice\no review examples of how to listen\, engage\, and act. \nVibrant Pittsburgh’s monthly Lunch and Learn brings together Vibrant Pittsburgh members from across sectors and industries in an informal\, interactive\, and participatory atmosphere to collaborate and deepen knowledge.
