AI is changing how we work and it’s not just about technology. It’s about people. As AI tools become part of our daily routines, they can open doors to greater inclusion or unintentionally create new barriers. In this session, we’ll explore how AI shows up in the workplace, how it can help or harm belonging, and how we can ensure its fair and responsible use. We’ll discuss real examples, uncover hidden risks, and share simple, practical steps you can take to make AI work for everyone.

Participants will:

1. Spot how AI can affect inclusion and belonging—both positively and negatively.

2. Understand your role, and your organization’s role, in using AI in fair, transparent, and people-centered ways.

3. Implement strategies like regular AI check-ins and plain-language policies to keep AI ethical and inclusive.

Vibrant Pittsburgh’s monthly Lunch and Learns brings together Vibrant Pittsburgh members from across sectors and industries in an informal, interactive, and participatory atmosphere to collaborate and deepen knowledge. Breakout rooms are used sometimes; there is no requirement to appear on camera.
