Psychological Safety Fuels Innovation

February 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Psychological Safety Fuels Innovation

Innovation doesn’t happen by accident; it’s shaped by leaders who intentionally create environments where people feel safe to speak up, challenge assumptions, and take smart risks. Psychological safety is a critical skill that influences how teams collaborate, learn from failure, and turn ideas into results.

We will explore how everyday actions, language, and decisions directly impact psychological safety on our teams. We’ll examine how trust is built or eroded in moments that often go unnoticed, and how we all can model curiosity, openness, and inclusion to unlock innovation. We’ll discuss practical, real-world strategies to create conditions where experimentation and accountability coexist.

Participants will:

  • Understand psychological safety and its role in driving innovation, performance, and engagement
  • Recognize leadership behaviors that strengthen trust or unintentionally silence contributions
  • Apply practical strategies to encourage speaking up, healthy debate, learning from failure, and experimentation
