Pay Rate: $68,000 – $72,000/year
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000

Position Summary
As a key member of the Advancement team, the Director of Digital Communications oversees Achieva’s digital ecosystem—from social media and SEO to web strategy and email marketing. This role ensures our messaging is mission-driven, measurable, and aligned with organizational goals, helping to grow engagement, drive advocacy, and increase fundraising impact.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy across social media, SEO/SEM, and email marketing
Lead content creation and distribution for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and others
Manage and maintain a dynamic content calendar ensuring consistent, timely messaging
Collaborate with Communications Manager on multimedia storytelling, video, and campaign frameworks
Oversee and optimize Achieva’s website UX and performance; coordinate SEO improvements
Track and report digital KPIs and provide insights to senior leadership and the board
Manage audience segmentation, email campaigns, list growth, and performance analytics
Uphold brand integrity across all digital channels and communications
Stay ahead of digital trends and tools; implement innovative tactics for broader reach
Support Advancement department-wide projects and campaigns as needed
Troubleshoot digital issues and streamline sustainable processes

Qualifications
Who You Are: A strategic digital storyteller who thrives at the intersection of creativity, data, and mission impact.

Minimum 3 years of experience in digital communications, marketing, or a related role
Proven success growing and engaging social media audiences
Proficiency in content management systems, SEO, and paid digital ad campaigns
Excellent writing and editing skills tailored to digital audiences
Experience in email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
Understanding of social media analytics and Google Analytics
Leadership or team supervision experience strongly preferred
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field
Bonus: Familiarity with HTML and design platforms like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
