ECHO Realty is seeking to hire a Lease Administrator who will be responsible for accuracy, integrity, and maintenance of the company’s lease files and corresponding electronic database, including lease abstracts.
Contributions you will make to the team:
1. Model ECHO’s core values (The ECHO Way) and exhibit exemplary leadership.
2. Understands standard lease provisions with respect to common area maintenance, insurance, property taxes, assignment provisions, casualty clauses, and landlord/tenant disputes. *
3. Creates physical leasing file folders. *
4. Maintains files and records that are the responsibility of the Lease Administration (physical and electronic). *
5. Reports and tracks daily lease activity and production. *
6. Assist with the preparation and distribution of periodic and ad hoc reports in a timely and accurate manner.
7. Prepare correspondence, as directed. *
8. Prepare mailings and track the delivery status of correspondence. *
9. Audits abstracted leases and other documents related to leasing.
10. Coordinates efforts provided by counsel for the completion and distribution of leasing documents. *
11. Drafts various lease modification agreements based upon letters of intent from the Leasing Department. *
12. Prepares, monitors, and reports lease related dates and requirements including delivery deadlines, rent commencement dates, lease term commencement dates, lease expirations, renewal options, and other obligations and/or rights contained in leases. *
13. Provide interpretations and analysis of standard lease provisions. *
14. Assists in the preparation of term and commencement agreements in conjunction with the Construction, Property Management, and Accounting Departments. *
15. Assists the Director or Sr. Lease Administrator in due diligence projects in the event of an acquisition or sale of a property, as needed.
16. Assists and complies with auditor’s requests pertaining to leasing files.
17. Responsible for substantial tenant contact via telephone and email.
18. Complete required checklists and adhere to internal approval controls.
Requirements you’ll need to be successful:
· Associates degree or two years related experience and/or training in the field of Law or Commercial Real Estate.
· Degree in legal business studies preferred.
