ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Develop and implement financial wellness initiatives for employees throughout the company
- Function as the Company Administrator for the 401K and Profit Sharing Plans
- Provide leadership and guidance for the Company Financial Wellness Programs (Rainy Day Fund, Community Impact Fund)
- Chair the Administrative Committee of the Retirement Plan
- Active participation as a member of the PITT OHIO Investment Committee offering insights and recommendations to improve financial planning for employees
- Oversee the audit of the 401K Profit Sharing Plan with the outside accounting firm and file the required 5500 form
- Liaison to Third Party Financial Advisors for all financial wellness programs
- Provide education and counsel on financial wellness programs to employees and family members in group and one-on-one presentations
- Provide new employee orientations to our financial wellness programs
- Promote financial wellness programs by various media to employees and families
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
OTHER DUTIES
- Attend staff meetings in human resources and participate in team activities
- Maintain a high level of communication to senior management and present management updates to financial wellness goals
- Develop metrics to measure the success of financial wellness initiatives
- Maintain a high level of teamwork and cooperation with fellow employees
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Essential for success is a highly motivated and energetic individual with 3-5 years related experience in administering financial programs. A background profile should include experience with 401K and Profit Sharing Plans, including relationships with 3rd party benefit administrators.
A bachelor’s degree in finance or related field of study, or equivalent years of related experience is required. Ability to pass a fiduciary certification program is required.
Additional requirements include:
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong math and spreadsheeting expertise are required
- Team player able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
- Must be competent and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must possess problem solving and analytical skills
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Travel to facilities as necessary to implement financial wellness initiatives
- Available to meet in person or by phone with terminal employees during early morning and late evening hours as necessary
- Open corporate office environment – able to concentrate with typical office noise and interruptions due to phone calls.
- Close visual acuity is required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and spreadsheets, as well as integrating payroll data
- Typical exposure to interior environmental conditions like air conditioning – no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions
- Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Talking and hearing required to communication with and listen to others to share or receive information
- May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others
