The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing support to comprehensive marketing campaigns for assigned Pittsburgh Cultural Trust productions, including a variety of performing and visual arts events. Mission-focused community festivals and special events may include the First Night Pittsburgh, Gallery Crawls in the Cultural District, Pittsburgh Humanities Festival, and others. Ticketed series and events may include Trust Presents, as well as theater rentals, and co-productions.
The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Basic knowledge of graphic design, print production, and multimedia editing tools is preferred. Familiarity with content management systems and social media advertising platforms is preferred. The Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for analyzing website and survey data to inform future decisions. This position manages budgets for individual shows, festivals, and special events subject to supervision by the Marketing Manager. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and works in collaboration with Marketing & Communications Department personnel, other Pittsburgh Cultural Trust departments, media representatives, sponsors, and other external community partners.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, entertainment management, or a related field is preferred. The salary range starts at $38,000. Please send a cover letter and resume to employment@trustarts.org No phone calls, please.
