Position Overview
This is an entry-level, hands-on internship designed for students interested in construction, engineering, or skilled trades. You’ll work outdoors with a survey crew supporting real construction projects.
What You’ll Do
Assist survey crews with layout and measurement on job sites
Hold grade rods, prism poles, and measuring tools
Help set stakes and markers for roads, utilities, and grading
Learn to measure distances and elevations
Support roadway, bridge, and utility construction projects
Help maintain and transport survey equipment
What We’re Looking For
High school students or recent graduates (must be at least 18 years old)
Interest in construction or hands-on outdoor work
Basic math skills (measurement, addition/subtraction)
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable transportation preferred
