Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field AND four (4) years of related work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
The Principal Systems Administrator role designs, installs, administers, and optimizes IT infrastructure services including server equipment, software systems, and other related components to ensure high levels of availability and security. The Principal Systems Administrator participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisions and maintenance are consistent with goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. This role will also organize and direct the efforts of other team members. This position serves as the highest technical resource on the systems administration team.
