Job Title: Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer
Location: 1405 Shady Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15217
Pay Rate/Salary Range: $63,623 to $74,850
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full Time.
This position is a Hybrid work arrangement that also requires occasional travel and the ability to work some evenings and weekends to attend donor events, as needed.
The Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer is a member of the Advancement team and reports to the Director of Corporate, Foundation and Government Relations. This position is responsible for cultivating relationships and securing gifts from a pool of corporate and foundation partners in partnership with the Director of Corporate, Foundation and Government Relations. This position is responsible for all phases of the fundraising process including identifying, soliciting, and securing support for our mission. The Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer will also develop stewardship plans to maintain and grow gifts annually.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of successful corporate and foundation fundraising, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to strategically engage with funders.
Responsibilities
Supports the development of a comprehensive corporate and foundation donor strategy to meet fundraising goals and objectives.
Manages a portfolio of corporate and foundation donors through proactive cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with corporate and foundation partners through personalized communication, meetings, site visits, and events.
Collaborates with teams across the organization to identify needs and develop compelling funding proposals, impact reports, and other materials for solicitation.
Conducts prospect research to identify and prioritize potential corporate and foundation donors.
Manage operational and administrative activities of grants, including budget and progress monitoring in collaboration with project directors.
Provide regular progress reports, including donor visits, proposal pipeline, and new cash and commitment reports to the Chief Advancement Officer.
Work with the development team to integrate annual giving campaigns into corporate, foundation, and major donor tactics and asks.
Responsible for building a corporate volunteer and engagement program to provide educational information about CI’s programs and opportunities to become involved in our mission.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
3-5 years of experience with 2+ years of corporate and foundation experience.
Experience with donor database management is preferred.
Clearances Required: Act 73 FBI, Act 34 Criminal Clearance, and Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance.
Valid, current driver’s license.
Ability and means to travel to external appointments on a flexible schedule as needed. Some evenings, weekends, and periodic travel required.
