Holy Family Institute was founded in 1900 by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth with the mission of empowering children and families to lead responsible lives and develop healthy and meaningful relationships built on faith, hope, and love. To meet the changing needs of children and families, our services and programs are constantly evolving. Holy Family’s programming comprises education services, immigrant children services, and social services. Education services include Holy Family Specialized Learning, which helps students overcome academic and behavioral challenges in a classroom setting, and Nazareth Prep, an innovative Catholic high school focused on college and career preparation through a skills-based curriculum and weekly internships. Journey of Hope, our immigrant children services, is a shelter program for unaccompanied minors. Our social services provide mental health counseling, utility payment assistance, family support systems, and more.
