The Role of Accountability Metrics in DEI
Organizations seeking to accomplish diversity, equity, and inclusion as measurable outcomes understand the importance of metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Often, organizations focus on DEI trainings and external messaging first. However, it is vital for organizational leaders to explore accountability systems within their organizations, how they can be implemented and how to ensure their effectiveness. One way is to focus internally is through employee engagement or pulse surveys. Does your organization collect and analyze internal data? Does your organization have metrics in place to measure the effectiveness of your DEI initiatives? What do you do with this information once you have it?
Please join our panelists as they discuss and highlight novel programming influenced by gathering and interpreting data from employees that show how their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives went from “a thing we do” to “how we do all things.”

This series is an opportunity for Vibrant Pittsburgh to highlight and tackle critical opportunities to improve the practices, policies, and cultures of organizations in the Pittsburgh region, increasing the impact of our collective DE&I efforts. It focuses on the categories from the Vibrant Index Diagnostic Tool. RTES connects you to expertise in the region and beyond.
