About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and solutions-driven Inventory Planning professional to help shape and optimize network inventory performance across our client base. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex supply chain challenges, partnering with clients, and driving meaningful operational improvements.
You will own SKU-level inventory strategies, influence network supply decisions, and help implement tools and processes that improve service, efficiency, and visibility across the supply chain. What You’ll Do
Drive Inventory Performance
Develop and manage warehouse-specific SKU-level inventory targets to ensure optimal stock availability.
Identify root causes of inventory performance gaps and implement proactive, forward-looking solutions.
Partner with internal teams and clients to achieve and exceed fill-rate and service level goals.
Lead lifecycle planning strategies for new product launches and product phase-outs.
Partner with Clients and Cross-Functional Teams
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing data-driven recommendations and supply chain insights.
Collaborate with Transportation, Warehouse Operations, Finance, Engineering, and Account Management to improve network performance.
Support onboarding and integration of new customers into inventory and supply chain processes.
Communicate operational changes, risks, and opportunities clearly to stakeholders.
Improve Processes and Technology
Design and implement scalable inventory planning processes and Standard Operating Procedures.
Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and enhance supply chain workflows.
Participate in evaluating, testing, and implementing planning tools and visibility platforms.
Support master data integrity and configuration within supply chain visibility systems.
Lead Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement
Investigate supply disruptions and develop corrective and preventative action plans.
Develop and monitor KPIs that measure operational effectiveness and client success.
Contribute to strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Partner with third-party vendors, carriers, and distribution partners to support operational success
What Makes You a Great Fit
Required Experience
4+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, or advanced analytics supporting supply chain operations.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field — or equivalent professional experience.
Strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and supply planning principles.
Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders in a consultative or advisory capacity.
Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data and analytics into actionable business insights.
Preferred Experience
6+ years of supply chain or inventory planning experience.
Experience with supply chain planning platforms such as Blue Yonder, JDA Software, i2 Technologies, or Manugistics.
Strong analytical tool proficiency including Microsoft Excel, Access, and IBM Cognos.
Experience supporting supply chain transformation, process improvement, or system implementation initiatives.
Industry certifications such as APICS, CSCP, PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma.
