January 17 – Foundations of Inclusion: DEI 101

As our workplaces become more diverse it is crucial to create welcoming places of opportunity for all. Establishing a shared understanding of fundamental DEI principles is key as the language we use has the power to shape the way we understand and connect with people. This training gives an overview of foundational DEI concepts and dimensions of diversity along with insights into fostering inclusive workplace environments.

In this training, participants will:
• learn and review key DEI terms and concepts;
• discuss dimensions of diversity; and
• review key features of inclusive workplaces

Vibrant Pittsburgh’s monthly Lunch and Learn brings together Vibrant Pittsburgh members from across sectors and industries in an informal, interactive, and participatory atmosphere to collaborate and deepen knowledge. Breakout rooms are used sometimes; there is no requirement to appear on camera.
